Whether transitioning from hospital care, awaiting a transition to a home, or pending the availability of specialist disability accommodation (SDA), MTA ensures continuity of care during these interim periods.
MTA covers housing costs, allowing participants to live in a safe, accessible setting while other supports are arranged. It is important to note that daily living expenses such as food, utilities and personal care are not included and must be planned for separately.
